WSC #66 & IIC#1

Hi All,
Hope your having a great weekend! I sure have, little big hung over, so that can be my excuse for my very simple card heheheh. I combines Beates weekend sketch challenge with Makeesha's inkspirations inspiration challenge! Think I will give Keesh's challenge another go when my new Summer mini stamps arrive!!! Yes thats right there is a new summer mini catalogue being released in December. Anyway hope you like my card! Thanks, better go pick a winning name for my team now.

SO here it is! No overly happy with it, but hey we are allowed to make ugly cards sometimes. Im thinking I follow the sketch too much, I think like I could have done two flowers instead of dots, and maybe a ribbon accross the bottome instead of strip of paper! hmmmm I will try harder next time.

A Winner!!

Well thanks so much for the suggestions with a team name. We have decided to go with rubber butterflies!!! SO congrats Holly, send me your address And I will post out stamp this week.
Thanks

Midnight Madness Challenge # 3

this angle helps you see the diamonds on the frosting better!
Yay, I finally got around to doing my sisters midnight madness challenge! I used the stamp set Birthday best from Stampin Up! I decided to use real red as i thought it looked closer to the colour in the picture challenge. I watercoloured with my pixie pink and soft sky on the cupcakes and you can't have cupcakes without a bit of dazzling diamons!!! So i dazzled the flame and then got the two way glue pen and did lots of dots on the frosting and then dusted with dazzling diamonds, cute cute cute! The ribbon I used is soft sky and teh greeting is from spring pictograms. I look forward to seeing who wins......I just want one of those blog trophys to display when you win heheheheh. This design was partly cased from a layout on SCS!

Boys Birthday Cards!

My son Mac has been invited to twin boys birthay party on thursday, so I needed to make up two 5 year old birthday cards. The red & the yellow one are for the boys, but I liked them so much I decided to make another one! You can kinda see the dazzling diamonds, I outlined the stars in background with dazzling diamonds and then mounted the stars! I also rolled the stars in versamark and rolled it all over the cardstock for the background. This card is super easy, it just requires you to use the jumbo wheel called Classic stars an then a greeting from short and sweet! I will be holding a stamp a stack class in November using this jumbo wheel, we will make 3 of these birthday cards, 3 baby cards & 4 xmas ones all with this set! Email me at theyoungs14@optusnet.com.au if your interested in coming to this class, its called a stamp a stack and the cost is $20 and you get to take home 10 gorgeous hand made cards.

stampsets: Classic stars jumbo wheel & Short n Sweet.

Ink: Versamark & Brilliant Blue

Paper: Whisperwhite, Brilliant blue, wild wasabi, real red & yoyo yellow

Accessories: 2 way glue pen, dazzling diamonds, dimensionals & snail adhesive
