Stamp Camp!

A couple of weeks ago I went to stamp camp that was organised by the lovely Yvonne Campbell! It was held at Sunnystones in Bacchus Marsh so not too far for me heheh. All 22 of us participated in a shoebox swap so instead of making 22 swaps we made the ingriedients and instructions ready and each of us would take a box back to our table make the card and so on. Here are 5 of the cards I made! It was such a fun weekend, not only were we creating some of us woulod read our books in the lounge with the fire place, we played my twilight board game heheh and the funnest of all singstar until 5.30am!!! So much fun well maybe not for those who were sleeping but fun for us that were singing heheh. Anyway such an awesome weekend, I have not looked back ever since joining SU in April 2008!! PPA2 Sketch Challenge

Happy Monday! Well hmm who is actually happy on a Monday? I know I'm not lol, and today is so wet and cold brrr. A few more weeks and it will be Spring here in Australia YAY I love Spring. Anyway I came accross this awesome challenge blog called Pals Paper Arts its a group of very passionate Stampin Up demos who like to inspire Stamping pals. Primarly they like you to use SU products but do welcome other products. I LOVE the idea of only using SU products and can see myself playing these challenges on a weekly basis. So anyway this week it is a sketch which I just loved as soon as I saw it. So here is the sketch and below is my card.

All products are from the current spring mini catalogue, I'm loving this stamp set called tree trimmings and these papers SO BEAUTIFUL. I had a class at home yesterday and had customers asking if i can make up a stamping kit, so stay tuned as I will be making my first ever Kit with this stamp set and papers plus other stuff too. Scrapbook page for a Friend

Hey All! Hope everyone is having a good weekend, I have had a lazy day today just lovely. Tomorrow I have a busy day and a class in the afternoon. I wanted to share with you a LO I made lastnight for my sister Susannah's sister in law. This is Sandra she was hit by a car in April this year and Killed, I still cant believe it, she was just the most beautiful girl and had the sweetest kindest personality. She was 11 years old its just so sad. I never got around to sending a card or flowers and just felt horrible and the funeral was when I was at Stampin Up convention so I asked my sister to print the most recent pic of Sandra so i can make a scrapbook page. I am going to take this to a custom framing place in Bacchus Marsh and get a nice white frame for it and then I will post it to Sandra's Mum & Dad. I hope they like it and thought this would be something they can keep.

I have used All Stampin up supplies except for the white flower and pink rose which are from Bizzy Becs online store.
The colours I have used are Not quite navy, kraft, bashful blue and pretty in pink. I used the watercolour vine roller which you cant really see, and the sentiment is from close as a memory $35.95 and includes 4 stamps. Great Friend

Last night I went into the city for dinner for my friend Marketta's birthday, we all went to Harbour town Hotel which is right literally under that big ferris wheel in Melbourne! It was so great to catch up with my girlfriends there are 7 of us that all went to highschool together so we have all been friends since we were 14 and we are now 28! 3 of us have kids 2 are building houses in serious relationships and the other two are enjoying singleton life playing the field LOL. Its a really big deal when all 7 of us get together, normally 1 or two cant make it but on Monday we decided to all meet in the city for dinner and so we did! 2 live in Bacchus Marsh, 1 in Melton, 2 in Geelong and 2 in the city so you can see why it is sometimes hard to all be there. Anyway dinner was lovely. So anyway I made a card yesterday for my friend and here it is below, I scored the very vanilla, it looks soo effective I seen this on a birthday card Keesh sent me. I have used two new set from the spring mini Great friend and Gallery. Hope you like & Just a reminder I have a class on Sunday with some spots left so contact me if you would like to attend.

Sweetie's August layout sketch!

Back again! I have wanted to try out one of the sweetie sketches for a while now and finally made the time today yipeee. Now I have always been looking at the card sketches cause me and scrabooking don't go so well lol but when I saw this months sketch I just had to give it a go! Now just rememer I never claimed to be a scrapbooker lol although I really would love to do lots. P.s I just realised I didnt mount my lo on pumpkin pie cardstock which I had ready to do, and If I do it now it wont fit in my album BUGGER!! Must still be tired from my big craft weekend. xo

MDUC DT Card "Winter is here"

Hello hello sorry this post is a bit late today! I just got back from a weekend at stamp camp at Sunnystones retreat which Yvonne Campbell organised, soo sooo much fun! Lots of creating, reading books in front of the fire place, drinking, playing singstar at 4am!! heheh.
