Convention 2009 Canberra Day 1

YAY finally convention is here!!! well it actualy starts tom, but we all arrived in Canberra today and were shocked at how lovely the weather was, we all thought it was going to be very cold. Anyhoo I will update my blog daily but not always with chat sometimes just pics :) so anyway the first pic is some of us waiting at the airport, Kellie, Kerri, Yvonne, Liz, Sharon, Ramona, Debbie & myself. We were al very excited lol. Its so sureal being here and meeting the peoples blogs i have been following and getting to meet friends I have made through SU. Finally got to meet Makeesha, and she is just as gorgeous in person as she is in emails, also got to meet sock monkey with Madonna dunn lol he is too funny! Ooh and Karen Thomas she is gorgeous and glad I got to meet her plus so many others. Anyway thats it for now, will take pics at conventon tom and upload tom night. Debbie & I

Magnolia down under challenge #8

WOW we are up to week 8 with Magnolia down under challenges, gosh that has gone fast! This weeks challenge was set by me! I'm crazy for cupcakes and just LOVE this Magnolia cupcake! I have covered the frosting and bow with crystal effects! The papers I have used are Kaiser craft and as soon as I seen the little cupcake pattern I knew I had to have it for this challenge. Make sure you go check out all the DT's work, they are all so fabulous. And if you wanna play all you need to do is make your card with a magnolia stamp and some sort of cupcake theme or if you have any magnolia cupcake stamp, its up to you how you interpret the challenge, and have it entered by Saturday 25th 12.pm. Australian EST

Rewards Program for MY Customers

My business cards arrived today yippee! And well although the colour is not what it looked like on the computer??? OH well never mind. Anyway so this is the front of the business card and on the back which you will see below I have a rewards program. Basically its for when you attend classes with ME. This does not include workshops, Classes only. So for every class you attend I will stamp a box, and once all 5 are stamped you get to choose a free ink pad colour of your choice! RRP $ 11.95 The card is valid for 12 months form the date of first class attended. So if your interested in attending any classes with me, I have one coming up on Tuesday 28th April 7pm . Magnolia down under challenge #7

WOW can't believe we are up to challenge 7 already! I'm having so much fun, but boy is it hard picking the top 3 when there are sooo many good entries. Anyway if you have any magnolia stamps in your stash make sure you pop over to MDUC and have a play in one of our weekly challenges. This weeks challenge was set by the lovely DT Debbie and the challenge was to make a sepia card! This was a struggle for me, but here is what I came up with anyway. Thanks for looking. Oh also convention for Stampin' up! is in 2 weeks!!! Im so excited to go to Canberra and meet sooo many of the lovely demos I have chatted to online and also learn new techniques. FUN FUN. For those of you who are interested I will be taking my laptop with me and trying to update my blog twice a day with pics, so if you were not able to come this year and are anxious to see pics check back here in a couple of weeks, we leave on the 30Th April. But be warned a majority of pics may just be off me and Kellie lol since we sharing a room heheh. But I will endeavour to get some pics of "The famous ones" lol like Yvonne Campbell, Makeesha Byl, Kerri Hunter, Karen Thomas, Marelle Taylor etc heheh I'm going to be the SU paparazzi!!! LOOK OUT! lol.

SAS Class at Darley Designs

Just wanted to set the date for my first class at Darley DesignWindow Furnishings, Gifts & Home waresShop 1, 64 Grant StreetBacchus Marsh. The date of the class will be Tuesday 28th April at 7pm. The cost is $30 which will require you to pay a $15 non refundable deposit 1 week before the class. Im really excited to start classes at the shop, I am buying a nice tressel table and chairs tomorrow for the classes. The pictures below are some sneak peaks of the shop this will be the room I set the table in and run my classes. Doesnt it look just beautiful, there are some gorgeous gifts and homewares already in the shop! Wait until you walk in the room and smell all the gorgeous soaps and candles from the soap dish YUMMY! So what are you waiting for, book in now to come to my First class at the shop which we will be using products from the new catalogue how exciting! I will also be having a special for my customers once you have attended 5 classes with me and had your rewards card stanped. I will let you pick a Stampin ink pad colour of your choice free!!! I have special cards made up and each time you attend I will stamp your rewards card. So hopefuuly those cards will arrive just in time for the first class. Anyway I have waffled enough I think.

YAY I won a midnight madness!

Well I finally won a midnight madness yippee! Although dont get too excited I was the only entrant LMAO! BUT my card did rock, well i think so anyway. Anyway My sister Paula who runs the midnight madness challenges designed a limited edition special trophy for me!!!! As I am know as Princess heheheheh. How cute is this!! Anyway, Had a very busy week with my Dad not being well and ending up in hospital, but today I managed to sneak in some retail therapy and brought my self a pink laptop and new digital camera :) Just what the doctor ordered.
