New Challenge Blog!

Hey Dolls!
Just wanted to let you know my fellow dt member and good Gal friend BETTY is starting a new challenge blog In May!! WHOOO HOO its called The Burtonesque Dolls all the challenges will be basedon Tim Burton movies!! How fun and freaky hahah! I was soooo thrilled when Betty asked me to join the DT!! I cant wait to get started in May!
She is also having a DT call and looking for some more Dolls to join the team!! So pop on over here to check out the details.

Hello Happy Monday to you all! Its time for another Pink Elephant Challenge.....and this week we are showcasing All that scraps cc spring kit!! And our theme is to make a spring card :) I ADORE the spring kit, and chose to use this cutie patootie image! We would love you to come join us this week so pop on over here. On Saturday Kellie came over with her 3 kiddies, this was the first time I have met the gorgeous things and they loved playing with my 3 monkeys. Kellie and I crafted away and the kids all played nicely together.

Just a quick post here, my fellow DT Tracey has opened her own digi store called Spesch Stamps. I have been eyeing off the images for awhile and when I saw this one called Bonnie, I knew I had to have her! I have used my prisma pencils to colour and sprayed the whole card with shimmerz. Here is my birthday blog hop card, I have used the GORGEOUS Magnolia Princess soon to be available in Magnolia Down Under Store!!! YAY. This is one of those cards u need to see in real life!!{try clicking on it to inlarge} I used shimmer spray over the whole card and blinged up my princess! HOW GORGEOUS are these Prima papers the "shabby chic" collection!! Anyway here is my card.

Now just for a good laugh LOL here is my very first card for our very first Magnolia down under challenge, which was autumn them and must use colour red!! Ok I bet your all laughing now huh? heheh My work has defiantly improved since then hehhe.Happy Birthday Magnolia Down Under Challenges!!! What a fun fabulous year we have had, and cant wait to make it too two years!!

CHAPTER 4: Picturing Wonderland

We have another sketch Challenge today, this time brought to us by our very own Pam Varnell! Pam created this sketch JUST for the Oh, Alice! DT blog and it just reminds me of Wonderland itself!
Here's the sketch:
I used this gorgeous Chibi cookie from The greeting farm, as soon as I saw it I thought ooh she would be a CUUTE alice look alike dont ya think? I also used my Prisma pencils for the first time to colour her!! I still need some practice with these pencils, but for my first try Im pretty happy :) At least now I can use digis a bit better and dont have to worry about ink running.

Oh Alice Chapter 3 "Painting the roses red"

Sorry my post was late, I have had the worst day, we had freakish floods AGAIN!! Do u remember the pics I put on my blog a few weeks ago?? Yes well after having everything professionally cleaned and looking lovely again we got flooded eeek and all while my hubby is away :( But then tonight my night was cheered up Kell rang to say will i be up at 10.30pm as she needs to talk and i was like ok sure, and guess who knocked on my door at 10.30!!!!??? Yep Kellie hehehhehe with a box of chocolates too isnt she the best!!!!!!!!! {dont forget she lives 2 hrs away} And this weekend is extra special guess you could call it mine and Kells anniversary hehhe we met one year ago today and have become the best of friends.

CHAPTER 3: Painting the Roses Red

I {Heart} Edwin!

Hello Happy Autumn!! I cant believe its March already!! So for my DT kit from Magnolia Down Under store I got this cute lil Guy Edwin from the collection called "Rainsing the ceiling"available here. Seriously how could you not like this cuuutie Patoootie!!! In my kit from Kellie I got some lace, flowers and a charm along with this stamp of course. Kellies challenge to us was to try and use most things on our card. I managed to use the lace and gorgeous baseball cap charm.....but flowers....I just dont see flowers on boys cards lol, but I will defiatly be usingb the gorgeous flowers on my next card! The lace, charms, stamps are all available from Magnolia DOwn Under and there is also a new collection for easter out now too so Hop on over!

I use all tim Holtz distress inks to colour my images, also available from MDU. I am absolutly loving my distress inks!!

Time for a colour challenge @ The Pink Elephant {TPE #56}

This week at The Pink Elephant is a very exciting one!! Our very own Lori, Owner of the Pink elephant has created a line of stamps called puddle jumpers, and they will be sold exclusively at Die Cuts R us! So pop over there fast as they wont last one once you see how cuuuute they are!! Some of you may have even already seen the 3 day blog hop release from them cute huh! So back to tha challenge this week is a colour one and you have to add the colour green to your card! All us dt were super lucky to get 1 of the 3 new puddle jumpers to play with!!!! YAY. I got Noah, Im sure u will agree he is super cute! I have coloured him in copics {Debbie copics :)} my 2nd attempt and dont mind how he turned out!! I added the colour green to his shirt and some green is also in my dp.
