TPE #55

Hello happy Monday to you all!! I am sooo tired after my weekend! So bare with me this will be a short post and possibly jumbled hahah. So this week we have a sketch for you at TPE and what a fabulous sketch it is.

Ok I have to add I dont use copics, but my good friend Debbie came over to play with me and Kell and she let me use her copics for this bear! She also gave me a handful of the gorgeous Heart charms I have used soo sweet thanks Debbielicious! It was so scary using something your not used to, I dont mind how the colouring turned out not great but its ok. later though i realised the pink was way to bright for my dp and just was not happening so I put stickles on to soften pink then it made ink run a bit oopsie. Hey Peeps! What a busy weekend! I think my eyes are bulging out my head after staying up until 5am both nights that Kellie stayed with me heheh. We had a fabulous very productive weekend, Debbie Pamment came over on Saturday to play hehe we had lots of fun, excpet for Debbie when she tripped over my bed LOL. So anyway I saw the challenge this week for all that scraps and thought oooh fun! Then I thought hmm a sketch would be good to go with it too. So the challenge for ATS is a RECIPE 4 embellishments, 3 papers, 2 colours & 1 image. Below is the sketch I used which is Crazy 4 challenges #25

For my card I used the picture as inspiration! How adorable is this CC stamp and the tree stump and mushrooms are perfect for the inspiration pic both stamps are from the spring kit. Somebody pinch me!!

So every morning when I wake up, before I go wake the kids for school I roll over and grab my iphone and check my emails and today in the Morning while I was checking I had lots of lovely emailed congratulating me on Oh alice Design team position {still SOOO excited about that} and then there was an email from the Gorgeous Lori Boyd saying would I like to Join The Pink Elephant design team!!!!! Oh my gosh i think I fell out of bed rubbed my eyes like am I sleeping is this real bahahahah. Iam soooooo super excited and thrilled and well of course I said YES!!!! So after excited emails back and forth with Lori I asked when I could announce and she said well if you have a card for our current challenge you can start now. YAYAYYAYAY and guess what I actually had papers out ready to start working on a card to enter for it anyway heheh. SO Here is my first official DT card for TPE. CA&F Sketchy Saturday #5

Hello Im back, sort of not really heheh. I decided I needed a break from the mud and water clean up and badly need to de stress myself!{{See below post to know what Im talking about}} Which meant crafting time YAY!! Although half way through I was just about ready to throw it in lol. So anyway Im back with Club Anya & Friends sketchy saturday.....{just made it in the nick of time, thank god we are a day ahead heheh} I loved this weeks sketch again and so glad I got the time to play along. I used my websters papers, seriously how gorgeous are these!!! And again the YUMMY doilies from the stamp spot, cant wait for my stamp spot order to arrive with some new shapes & sizes yipeee!

I just LOVE this cutie Ruby designed by Amy Young for The Greeting Farm. How adorable is she!!! My ribbon is from Stephanne my fellow MDU dt :) Anyway time for bed, Im going to my sisters tomorrow for a shower, from the floods our hot water system was flooded and aparently RACV home insurance dont see that as urgent!!! Ok obviously their staff dont shower much hahahah. So ready for a new week to start!! Bring on the sunshine again next week! Thanks for everyones thoughts and kind comments over the past week :) I LOVE my blogging friends.

Crazy CRAZY Summer weather!

Did I say CRAZY haha! As you know its summer here in Australia, and we have been having stinkin hot weather to max 113 farenheit. And well Yesterday My lovely town decided to have some freakishly HEAVY rain, thunder and lightening it was VERY scary! Anyway I thought I would share some pics of what I have been doing the last 2 days!! And what I will be doing probably for the rest of the weekend :(

So this is a picture of a road in my town as I was driving. As u can see its complet under water.

Then we get home and go ok house is ok rain stops.....20 mins later starts again and OMG was bad and this is the result our garage!
My Dinning table and computer area!!! Yes the water and mud came inside eeek!! Just fYI I normally have WHITE tiles!

I have a video here on face book of when this was a flowing river!! Which is how it came in house, this is after rain dried up a bit, cause it was still very hot while raining.

This was my drivway today in the morning, was impossible to get the kids to school clean hehe

And here is my youngest having some fun in the mud, this is our concreted driveway covered in mud!

So there you have it, I have had the CRAZIEST week, from sick kids to flooding house and garden, we literally had a river flowing down our street, my dog started floating out the front {dont worry we saved her} one of the kids toys is all the way at the bottome of our street! My house smells like wet smelly swamp! It started to rain AGAIN today and we started to flood again, lucky we had tons of brooms still here from all our neighbours who came to help, we also had the State emergency service here helping. So when it started again today we just kept sweeping the water away so it wouldnt come in house.

I just saw on the news too that the doctors surgery we were at right before rain started, the docs roof caved in, and it was the consultation room we were in FEW cause i would have had a heart attack if i was in there lol. Our local shopping centre room also caved in from the rain.

Oh did I mention our hotwater system got flooded and we have no hot water NOOOOOOOOO!! Although they do say mud is a great antioxidant hahahah dont they?? So lucky we have home and contents insurance, they came out today and we are getting floors cleaned, carpet replaced etc and they checking our computer too {So glad I have a laptop} Oh and the best news of all my CRAFT stuff survived haha not a drop on any of it PHEW!
So sadly I have had to miss out on joining in on some of my fav challenges :( and commenting on blogs. Once we have our house back without all the mud, I will be back to creating, who knows I think I might even need a mud break tomorrow to create something to de stress myself hahah.

Hello all, I would normally say Happy Monday!! But no not so happy, more like tired Monday! Last week was my DD's 9th birthday and spent most of the week prepping for her party! LOL the things we do for our kids huh. Then Sunday night my poor lil 2yo came down with a fever and a rash and was just MISERABLE!! he was awake and crying until 4am!! Took him to the doctors today and he has very swollen tonsils, so he has medication now but of course it doesnt work straight away and all day he has been just cudling and dribbling on me cause it hurts to swallow. I just hate when the kids get sick, U fell so helpless dont you. Anyway I had planned today to cartch up on challenges and my MDUC card {which is LATE} but I just dont think it will happen for a few days until he starts to feel better :(

So there you have it, you now know why I have been MIA! Anyway so the challenge this week at Magnolia Down Under Challenge is Pink & Grey! Below is a pic of the fabulous price so make sure you pop over here to check it out.!

CA&F Sketchy Saturday!

Happy Monday to everyone! 2 more sleeps until my baby girl turns 9!!! I cant wait for Wednesday morning when she will open her presents, I love the look on her face when opening them an doing her lil happy dance she does hahah. So anyway Im back with Club Anya & Friends Sketchy Saturday! Seriously have I mentioned how much I am loving all the CA&F challenges as well as TGF Farm fresh Fridays. So anyway my DS Macauly has a birthday party tomorrow so I thought I would use this sketch to make a boy card.....have I mentioned how hard boy cards are....I mean no glitter, flowers etc sooo sooo hard for me LOL. Anyway here is the sketch and below is my card.

Ok I have to point out this is a bit brighter in real life, this pic makes it look a bit washed out, I just could not get a good pic of this card.

The "sweet" background in the scallop circle is from "The cutting Cafe" they are our current MDUC sponsor and they gave us some digis to play with for the challenge and this is what I had left over. Can I just say my wish list for what I want to buy is HUGE hahah at the top of that list though is INK for my printer heheh.
