Stamp a Stack classes

A couple of weeks ago I was asked by Sarah, one of my x down lines if I was interested in teaching card classes in her shops spare room. OF course I said yes, what a great opportunity, to not have to run around like a mad chook cleaning my house before class guests arrive!! Or worrying about the kids being on the best behaviour lol. The shop is called
Darley Design
Window Furnishings, Gifts & Home wares
Shop 1, 64 Grant Street
Bacchus Marsh
At this stage the first date I can set for a class is looking like the last week of April or early May, it will be a PM class so just wanted some expressions of interest before I confirm date. There are 6 spots available for this class and the cost will be $30, once the date is confirmed I will require a $15 non refundable deposit to hold your spot. In the class you will make 10 cards in 2 - 3 designs. Once I have regular interest in classes at Darley Design I will confirm regular fortnightly or monthly dates ahead of time. I'm so excited to start classes there and look forward to seeing some old and new customers. And even more excited that Sarah is going to be stocking The soap dish soaps!!!
So if your interested in attending my classes please either email me at theyoungs14@optusnet.com.au or leave a message in the comments box on here.
My other down line Morag will be running scrap booking classes at Darley Design on Tuesday April 7th 7pm-10pm $25 includes all you'll need to complete a full page, Nibbles and wine!

This weeks challenge over at Tilda and Friends ATC challenges is called one for the boys! And luckily I had this pre stamped magnolia stamp called Edwin thanks to Kel! I used my brayer on some vanilla card stock with bashful blue and then a bit of whisper white on top, which made the cuttlebug swirls stand out. Private SAS tonight.

Your probably wondering what a private SAS is, well I say private when someone has booked a class in but brings there own people. And open class is when I advertise and have a mixture of lovely ladies come. So anyway I have pics here of the 3 cards we are making tonight, all 3 cards are cased as my mojo seems to have disappeared.
So this first card is the card I recieved off Kellie and I believe she made it at her first class at Yvonnes
. And here is the colours I have used for tonight, elegant eggplant, Kraft & Vanilla. The flash has made my shiny bit look very dark, I promise you it looks better in real lol.
This is the gorgeous card I recieved from my very good American Demo friend Ashley. Who often insist I use Kraft! And now I LOVE IT!!! Looks good with everything so thanks Ashley!
Here is my version of the card, using two of out soon to be deleted in colours, soft sky and groovy guava :( so sad I really will miss them I have also used choc chip and craft.
This is one of the swaps I received at Regionals last year from Andrea who is my sideline demo (we have same upline) How gorgeous is this card! Love it.
Here is my version, I decided to round the corners and use the background stamp linen (which is also being retired BOO) on the ballet blue to add some texture. The colours i have used are bashful blue and ballet blue and vanilla.
And then same card different greeting.
Thanks for looking! Im off tom for a girls weekend in Geelong with my girlfriends so prob wont get much crafting done. Have a great weekend.

Double Trouble!

Well I started working on the latest ATC challenge from Tilda and friends ATC challenges, and thought hmm I could do this, as the size is small which would mean I dont have to put too much on it, well then I got working on it and started to think oh crap this is actually quite tricky. So anyway after all that I'm actually quite pleased with how its turned out :) the theme for this challenge was double trouble, so pretty much 2 of everything or some things. I decided to use these gorgeous Bizzybec stamps which Kellie actually stamped on some paper for me at my request lol, this stamp is called "Candy Kisses" and you can buy it from here. Im so ordering me some bizzy bec stamps this week tee hee. Anway hope you like my ATC double trouble, I really enjoyed it after all and can't wait to see what this weeks new ATC challenge will be :).

How spoilt am I!

How spoilt am I! I received this large bag of goodies in the parcel post today! Kellie you cheeky bugger, BUT I love it all. Kellie and I have become such great friends, we are both Stampin' Up! Demos In victoria and made friends through our demo forums and blogs. We get along famously and its kinda freaky how much we are alike and think alike, we just about finish each others sentences LOL. We talk everynight until about 12.30- 1.ooish am LOL not looking forward to the phone bill! We are super excited for SU's convention in Canberra this year as we are sharing a room! At least we will save money on phone bills lol. The weekly pressies started with Kellie stamping some magnolias for me so I could have a play and make some cards (which lead to me winning one of Keesh's colour challenges TOOT!toot) And now I am a design team memeber for Kellie on Magnolia down under! Anyhoo so after Kellie sent me some magnolias I decided to ask what her fav Su colours were and ran all her fav colours through my 5 Different cuttlebug folders as Kellie does not yet have a cuttlebug, with her cuttlesbug papers i added in some chunky glitter butterflies and a Kaiser BUtterfly almbum for her to decorate, Kell is amazing at this Kaiser Albums and OTP Items. SO thats how it started and each week we send something to each other and well Kellie outdone her self this week, I cant believe all the goodies she sent me!! And how cheeky of her to tell me not to order baby girl magnolia as she is getting her....for me! LOL. Anyway you prob wanna see the pics so here they are. Enjoy How gorgeous is this card! Im going to have to case it! Kellie made it at her first class with her upline Yvonne.

Check out this pile of goodies!

I love this calender and think i will hang it on my craft wall.
YESS thats the baby girl magnolia stamp that Kellie knew I have been dying to order!

Magnolia down under Challenge #1

As I mentioned the other day I am a design team member for Magnolia Down Under. I was super honoured and excited to be asked by Kellie, and have just been so excited waiting for the Blog to launch! So for the First challenge, you had to use the colour Red, use a Tilda and an Autumn theme! Well i didnt go for an autumn theme as such but more so for the colours that remind me of Autumn. Haha looking at my pic now, my bow looks kinda loopy, note to self learn how to tie bow lol. Anyway hope to see you over at Magnolia Down Under playing along, can't wait to see what you all come up with.
