Natural Beauty!

This is a card I made today, while my mother in law was visiting, the idea of the card was from a card posted on splitcoast and the colours i seen on Marelle Taylors blog, and thought hmm lets try them together. Blue bayou, soft sky and mellow moss, I think they look beautiful together, the set I used is called natural beauty. Thanks Marelle for the colour inspiration. You can check Marelle's blog out here
Hope you like this card!

2 RAK'S

Yesterday I got two lovely suprises in the mail, a card from the very talented Kristie Morrison, we both joined stampin up at the same time and since being introduced on one of the SU forums have become great online buddies since we live in different states, hopefully we will actually get to meet next year at convention :). The other lovely card was from my very awesome upline Kerri Hunter, best upline anyone could ask for, she's an awesome lady. The card on the left is from Kristie using the set Always from the new mini (which is released tomorrow!!!! yay yay yay) and the card on the right is from Kerri using another new set from the mini called blooming with beauty. If you click on Kristie or Kerri's highlighted name it will take you to their blogs where you can see some of their amazing creations.

Tiny tots card class!

Yesterday, I was looking after my friends daughter Charlette, who loves making cards! Luckily she only like bold brights heheheh they are the colours I use least of. Charlette is 3 years old, look below at all the clever cards she made, she insisted on inking them herself, and loved cleaning them on the stamp n scrub. I was told off if I went ahead and cleaned them lol.
Cheese!

These are all the gorgeous cards Charlette made! As you can see her fav colours are pink & purple. P.s I made the one with tepting turquoise for her.

Sticky Strip!

You look at this picture and think healium balloons?? No its actually SU's sticky strip stuck on the balloon then stuck to the ceiling! Pretty clever hey! You may think oh you could do that with sticky tape, well no you can't we tried sticky tape and masking tape and the balloons kept falling down, so I said to my sister I think I know what will work. And a day later they are still on the ceiling! Below are some more pictures of the very pink party for my neice Hollee's 5th Birthday!
These were the little magic fairy tokens we made, each fairy princess was given one and that was their special pass into the magical fairy room. We used the SU scallop punch and 2 SU circle punches!

Yum fairy bread & honey joys!

At last, my beautiful fairy princess daughter Madi!

Kristina Werner colour Inspiration #17

Hi,
Love this weeks colours! Was a bit unsure about Regal Rose and Rose Red together but they look very nice and the Sage Shadow just finishes it off! I used Bud Basics stamp set and Baroque Motifs. Anyway I hope you like it!
P.s wish I had Blooming with happines stamp set, that would have looked awesome for this colour inspiration, what a shame it's retired :(

Kristina Werner Colour Inspiration #16

Hey Guys,
I really struggled with this challenge, very tricky! I used soft sky paper, and then stamped polkadot bk stamp and clear embossed it, then i stamped two elephants on whisper white (sorry i was out of vannila) from wild about you in soft sky and cert celery, i then mounted it on a piece of pumkin pie and finished with cert cel ribbon. Anyway not too sure about this one, will try and make another design later.
Thanks guys
P.s you may notice i moved my blog from wordpress to blog spot :)

3rd & 2nd Birthday

Hey guys,
I had my nephews 3rd birthday last weekend and made this cute crocidile card! I got the idea from a person named flowergirl53 on split coast :) I used pumkie pie & old olive & brilliant plue papers and old olive ink. The crocidle is from Wild about you stamp set, the polkadots are the polkadot background stamp(love it) and the words are from short and sweet. I used the large circle punch and the scallop punch. The Elephant card is for a friends little girls birthday which I am about to head to today. You gotta love the wild about you set, its just fab! I used the tecnique kissing with a twist on the elephant. The elephant is from Wild about you, the balloons are from the big bold bday set as well as the little flowers. The colours i used was soft sky and pink passion, this colours look so great together! Anyway hope you like my cards

Kristina Werner Colour Challenge #15

I had lots of fun doing this challenge, the colours are so nice! I used Petal Prints set, and since I dont yet have Brads I used my 1/4 inch circles punch and then put crystal effects on them. This was a card I made a a technique class of Kerr’s but changed the colours and tecniques too suit what I had. Hope you all like, can’t wait for the next Colour Challenge.
